Though this is completely useless for pretty much every single one of us (since we don't have Google Glass), Google just released the companion Android app for Google Glass called MyGlass in Google Play. Even Google so cheekily reminds us that the app does nothing (without Glass, that is) saying: "If you don't have Glass, then downloading this will be a waste of time. Sorry about that. But if you swipe the screenshots to the right you'll see there's a picture of a puppy in pajamas. So not a total waste of time after all."

Google just released the official specs for Google Glass (after releasing the API too) and the futuristic frames come with 16GB (only 12GB will be usable) Flash memory, 5 megapixel camera for stills, 720p video recording, Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth and a battery that can handle "one full day of typical use".

Star Wars makes us all better, happier people. Proof: Stephanie Kaloi's four-year-old son just underwent surgery on both of his legs so he needed a walker and knee immobilizers to walk. The problem was that her son had previously associated the walker with pain, so he was never happy using it. But after it was outfitted as an AT-AT walker? He now walks around happily making laser noises. It's wonderful.

Netflix currently uses Microsoft's Silverlight plugin to run its streams. It's an inelegant solution that sometimes makes for subpar and bogged down streaming experiences. But Silverlight is possibly dying! And Netflix wants to get better! So Netflix is planning to move on from streaming on Silverlight and move towards HTML5 video. When that happens, streaming movies on Netflix might suck less.

According to Bloomberg, Facebook is currently in talks with Apple to bring Facebook Home to the iPhone. Mind you, that doesn't mean we should expect Facebook Home to
actually come to the iPhone (as that seemingly wouldn't jive with Apple's MO) but it does show Facebook's obvious desire to bring more Facebooking to more phones.

Check out this fantastic timelapse of Microsoft's original headquarters being built. Back in 1985, when planners plotted out the rising company's campus, Microsoft figured it'd need 88 acres of land in a forest near a one-stoplight suburb of Seattle called Redmond. The first office complex was a total of four star-shaped buildings you see in the video, built over the course of 7 months. Now, its 125-building campus sprawls over 500 acres—a city unto itself. [
