Yahoo's New Logo Is a Bore, and That's the Whole Point
Sep 05, 5:21AM
At midnight, Yahoo unveiled its new logo after 30 days of zany decoy versions. It's a staid little number, the main surprises of which are its intense new shade of purple, an ever-so-slight serif, and an odd architectural shadow effect. It's a more traditional, adult design—and it hints at how Yahoo is changing on a larger scale.

Do You Think Kids Have Too Much Technology These Days?
Sep 05, 3:39AM
Because people's skin gets wrinkled and because people's eyes get worse and because pop stars people have never heard of are somehow already insanely popular, it's common for adults to gripe about the kids these days. A lot of that talk eventually leads to how today's kids only know smartphones and iPads and YouTube and Facebook. They don't go outside! They don't play in the street! They should have grown up like us!
You can kill with Lego bricks
Sep 05, 2:50AM
Given enough force you can probably kill with anything you want—so it's not surprising to see these custom Lego shotgun shells inflicting such damage on metal and plastic. If any of these hit your soft flesh on the right place, it would be way more lethal than any brick left on any rug.
