Carapace EXO1 Wetsuit Review: Pure Custom Fit Goodness
Jan 29, 7:00PM
I don't know if I'm just weirdly shaped or what, but I've never found a wetsuit that fits perfectly. Sometimes it's just a nitpick—as in it's just a bit too tight one place, or a little baggy somewhere else—and sometimes I'm right in between sizes for a brand and can't wear any of their suits (I'm looking at you, O'Neill).

How Bioelectronics Will Cure Cancer
Jan 29, 6:40PM
When you think of cyborgs becoming a reality, you probably picture Arnold Schwarzenegger's glowing red eye from Terminator or the steely, tight-lipped stare of Robocop. But the future where man and machine converge won't just be built with nuts and bolts. It will be built with biology.
This Machine Perfectly Filets and De-Bones Fish with X-Rays and Water
Jan 29, 6:20PM
Machines that can accurately and efficiently filet a fish have been used for years now to speed up processing plants—though only with farmed fish that are all the same size and weight. Fish caught in the wild usually have to be processed by hand given they vary in size, but a new machine that employs x-ray vision and precise water jets can finally automate the filleting process.

Jan 29, 6:00PM
Being shot into space puts spacecraft under extreme stress—but did you know that the sound of the rocket launch can damage a craft? Inside the Large European Acoustic Facility, engineers recreate the incredible noise of a launch to make sure satellites can survive it. According to the ESA, "no human could survive" the sound.
Skype Exorcists are Scam Artists, Say Traditional Exorcists
Jan 29, 5:40PM
The internet is no stranger to long-distance religious rites, and Skype in particular has been a haven to those looking for a blessing from out-of-state (or across the globe, at that). Still, online spirituality does have its limits, which is unfortunate for Evangelical Christian Reverend Bob Larson. Because according to the religious powers that be, his Skype-based exorcism practice is just another, run-of-the-mill internet scam.
Why the South Fell Apart in the Snow
Jan 29, 5:12PM
I get it. Two inches of snow shuts down major metropolitan areas (not just Atlanta!). It's funny! It's funny because when it snows two inches where you live, it's nothing, you might as well be in West Palm Beach. Southerners lose their shit, though! Hilarious.
How I Lost My $50,000 Twitter Username
Jan 29, 5:00PM

You Can Cradle This 3-Cylinder Engine Like an 88-Pound, 400 HP Baby
Jan 29, 4:46PM
An engine this small should, by conventional logic, not be this powerful. But, somehow, it is. And at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans, Nissan plans to see just how well its under-sized, over-powered hybrid engine prototype handles auto racings's most grueling challenge.

How Good Data Makes Transit Feel More Efficient—Even When It's Not
Jan 29, 4:00PM
I tried a little experiment the other day—and I'm not sure why I hadn't tried it before. Before I walked to the bus stop to go downtown, I checked the real-time arrivals for my stop. It turned out the bus wasn't coming for another 11 minutes, so I did the dishes first and only then left the house. The bus arrived when it said it would, and I was on my way.
