Two thoughtful sons came up with a wonderful gift for their mom: they would recreate old childhood photographs of themselves, from 20 years ago, as adults. They would visit the same spots as the pictures, wear similar clothes as their kid self once did, pose the same way as they did two decades ago, and basically capture the same feeling they had when they were kids. It's a photo trick that's been done before, but is always lovely to see.

Holy wow this is impressive. Artist Anders Ramsell animated Blade Runner by painting 12,597 different water color paintings and stringing them together into beautifully fluid sequences. It's incredible, you feel like you're watching Blade Runner, you get to hear Harrison Ford and follow the story but you're seeing it like never before—in moving art.

We have seen a lot of its bow, but check out this unique view of the stern of the USS Gerald Ford—the first unit of America's new aircraft carrier class. It's surprising to see the new location of the island and how wide the stern is. Oh, and it kind of looks kind of Star Destroyerish from this angle.
